Kimberly Brown is a former PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultant from the global management & technology consulting unit, implementing technical business solutions for Fortune 500 companies, including NASDAQ/NASD, Duke Energy and Office Depot. Specifically, she was integral in the design, creation and implementation of PeopleSoft (ERP business software) customizations.
She earned her MBA and undergraduate degrees in her home state of North Carolina, graduating cum laude. As a graduate student, Kimberly Brown was the researcher and, later, Project Manager for one of the original internet law books, Cyberlaw and E-Commerce , by University professors David Baumer & J.C. Poindexter.
An avid horsewoman since age 10, Kimberly has successfully shown hunters and jumpers, trained with a U.S. Olympic coach and owned a small horse-transportation business. She has worked for the renowned WinStar Farm in Versailles, home of Kentucky Derby Sire "Distorted Humor," where she handled marketing, events management and internal data research.
Kimberly Brown has been quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle and in various other publications. Her own article "Leading the race: Central Kentucky equine medicine spurs research breakthroughs",was featured in Business Lexington the premier corporate magazine of the Bluegrass. In 2007, she was the Keynote Speaker for the National Economic Development Summit, where Senator Elizabeth Dole gave the opening welcome.
